Manuel Boden uses a vast variety of media not only in his artistic execution and production, but also in obtaining his source material.
During a micro-residency in Rotterdam (NL) Manuel Boden produced 36 xeroxed sheets in a completely analogue process, exclusively using materials that he found on site. A slightly downscaled reproduction of these paperworks form the content of this publication.
Hocus Bogus Publishing is a small press publishing house started by artist and printmaker Dennis Muñoz Espadiña. Since its inception in 2015 it has served as a platform for young artists and visual creators from the Netherlands and beyond. Frequently produced by the artists themselves in small and limited runs, these publications are filled with idiosyncratic words and images, radiating radical tender energies throughout. By showcasing and sharing these personal publications with a wider audience, HBP hopes to share the wonderful world of small press printed matter. Since 2022 Hocus Bogus Publishing has set up a Risograph printing studio in Roodkapje, an experimental art/music/food space in the heart of Rotterdam.
